Panel Discussion on ICS: Healthcare Summit 2023

On Thursday 28th September, our Director, Alessandro Alagna, facilitated a panel discussion on the 'Progress of integrated care systems so far, and the opportunities and challenges going forward' with:

🎤 Alison O'Donnell (Head of Education, Training and Development; Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust)

🎤 Mark Byrne (Chair; North West Surrey Health and Care Alliance) and

🎤 Jack Wagstaff (Chief Officer; North West Surrey Health and Care Alliance)

The panel took place at the Healthcare Summit 2023 (#HCSummit23) in London's Business Design Centre in Islington, and was part of a jam-packed day of panel talks, roundtables, and networking.

The three main topics of the ICSs panel were:

1. the experience of working with, or within, an ICS: what works and what doesn't so far

2. workforce integration: progress to date, how can ICS help and are they helping?

3. looking two years ahead, where do we want ICSs to be? What should be the ambitions and aspirations?

Talent for Care are shaping the conversations on collaborative working with ICBs and ICSs as part of the solution to building successfully integrated care for patients across the UK.
